Sojin Oh is a polymathic nail artist who translates organic phenomena—from the natural wonders of the sea to gastronomic delights—into sublime creations with both consideration and a sense of humor. As a Korean immigrant, Sojin ventured to North America alone at the age of fifteen in pursuit of becoming self-made. Her independent perspective has enabled her to rise from humble beginnings with integrity.
Sojin's aspirations led her to Los Angeles, where she advanced in creative production for top-tier fashion houses. However, her independence, combined with her creative, professional, and interpersonal zeal, motivated her to launch her own artistic project, giving birth to Sojinails. Her personal history is central to her mastery of technique, creative ingenuity, and the respectful and enjoyable interactions she has with collaborators and clients—interactions through which she continually learns more about herself.
An adventurer at heart, Sojin has a deep connection to the natural world. She has explored the diverse landscapes of South Korea and the Americas, bringing this trailblazing sensibility to her craft. Utilizing sculptural forms, glass art, and other unconventional practices and materials, Sojin takes nail art and her clients to uncharted territories. With Sojinails, she hopes her practice provides as much therapeutic impact for others as it does for herself.
Her past clientele includes Fondation Louis Vuitton, Prada, Miu Miu, Loewe, Off-White, Alexander Wang, BAPE, SKIMS, Richardson, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rosalia, Billie Eilish, Cardi B, Tinashe, Kelela, Lisa, Arca, Björk, Eartheater, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Grimes, Hunter Schafer, Kelsey Lu, Lil Nas X, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Coolidge, Naomi Campbell, Normani, Alexa Demie, and more. She has also been featured in interviews with Vogue Magazine, Surface, Wallpaper, Vanity Fair, Elle, Dazed, Forbes, Allure, V Magazine, and Harper's Bazaar.
